I am constantly moving my laptop between various networks, each with their own IP requirements, printers, DNS servers etc and as anyone who is in the same position will agree, changing all of these settings in Windows XP on a regular basis can be a nightmare.
I recently found a magical little program called NetSetMan which quite simply changed my life.
NetSetMan allows me to actively switch between up to six network configurations in as little as two clicks.
NetSetMan is simple to install and configure and you can be up and running in only a couple of minutes. I cant live without it now!
